Exceptional 1920s Czech Filigree 14 Panel Necklace with an interlocking fastener. All the panels are filigree and set with turquoise cabochons in raised settings surrounded by enamel petals as well as a blue rhinestone on each, making them very dimensional. The front three panels have three flowers. Brides Necklace/Something Blue. Quite beautiful.
Measurements: Length 41 cm (16").
Condition: Very good for its nearly 100 years of age with wear to the silver finish commensurate with age and use (see pictures), now more gilt and silver overall adding to its authenticity and charm. Some rubbing to the enamel. All cabochons and rhinestones are present and correct. I will include or happily change the fastener for a spring ring gilt one. Ideal for film, theatre, re-enactment or the pleasure of wearing something original and authentic. A lovely antique necklace.
