1920s Art Deco Blue Handbag

A very unusual 1920s blue snakeskin effect handbag. Featuring a beautiful carnelian semi-precious stone on the solid brass frame. The bag fastens by a brass ring sitting over the round stone.

The handle of the bag is made from the same blue snakeskin effect material which looks and feels like early vinyl.

The lining is made of grey silk and there is one internal side mirror pocket within the main compartment.

The bag is in good vintage condition and is as you would expect from an item of this age. Some signs of use - see pictures
